There are three ways to link your Online Booking form to your website:
All of these options will be explained in the following guide and associated videos. To make it simple, we will use WordPress as an example in the video guides, but the same principles go for all website tools.
This alternative works particularly well if you are using Facebook or Instagram as your main business platform. The link can then simply be attached to your description, making it easy for new and existing clients to book an appointment with you.
To insert the link, start by going to ‘Settings’ in the top menu bar and choose ‘Online Booking’. Then, click on Insert Online Booking on your Website:
Under the category ‘Link directly to Online Booking from your website’, you will find the URL for your Online Booking:
The URL will look like this: https://system.easypractice.net/book/name-of-your-practice. The URL can then be copied and pasted into your website or social media. When your clients click on the link, they will automatically be redirected to your Online Booking in a new tab.
The following video guides you through these steps:
Again, start by going to ‘Settings’ in the top menu bar and click on ‘Online Booking’. Then, click on Insert Online Booking on your Website. Here, you can copy the snippet that will allow you to create a pop-up:
The snippet can then be pasted into your website. Make sure that you add the snippet to the ‘Text’ or ‘Code editor’ option on your website, instead of the ‘Visual’ option, as this is where codes should be embedded.
Your clients will then be able to able to click on a text on your website saying ‘Book an appointment, and a pop-up will automatically appear.
The embedded version is the most common alternative for our users, as it makes the booking process a natural part of your website. It allows you to fully integrate the booking form to your website and to edit its width and height.
To find the snippet for the integration, go to ‘Settings’ in the top menu bar and click on ‘Online Booking’. Then, click on Insert Online Booking on your Website and copy the snippet under ‘Insert the booking form as an element on your website’:
When the snippet has been copied, you can return to your website editor and go to the ‘Text’ or ‘Code editor’ option. Then simply paste the full snippet to your website in order to embed it.
To edit the width or height of your Online Booking, change the metrics after ‘width’ or ‘height’ in the code:
Your clients will then be able to book an appointment with you directly from your website page.
