We’ve previously posted a guide to setting up the EasyPractice calendar in your Outlook 2007 calendar. The difference is that Outlook 2013 works through Office 365 – on a subscription basis.
This is a guide for synchronising your EasyPractice calendar with your Outlook 2013 account. That means that you’ll be able to see your appointments from EasyPractice’s Online Booking directly in your Outlook calendar, side by side with all the things you already have in Outlook 2013.

Step 1:
Begin with opening Outlook 2013 and click on the blue button named ‘Files’.

Step 2:
Continue by clicking ‘Account settings’ and then ‘Account settings’ once again. That is for adding and removing connections to your Outlook account.

Step 3:
You’ll get a dialogue box with all available synchronization. Choose ‘Internet calendars’ and then ‘New…’.

Step 4:
Now go to EasyPractice to retrieve the link for the calendar you want to synchronise with. Go to ‘Settings’ and then ‘Calendar’.

Step 5:
Copy any of the links and paste it into Outlook. Then click on ‘Add’.

Step 6:
You’re now in the calendars settings and can choose to name the calendar what you want. Remember to mark ‘Retrieve attached files into elements for this internet calendar’. Then press ‘OK’.

Step 7:
Just close the synchronization window, and you’ll be back on Outlooks frontpage. You can shift from your inbox (where we started) to your calendar, by clicking on the calendar icon in the bottom left corner. It highlighted in blue underneath.

Finally click on ‘All maps’ (that is turned horizontal) and you’ll see your calendar overview. Mark the EasyPractice calendar below ‘Other calendars’. The calendar will now be shown in your Outlook.

Done!

In our Help Centre we have a whole section dealing with the Synchronisation of external Calendars.
