This means you can fill empty spots quickly and have happier customers. Cliniko has a waitlist function as well, but unlike EasyPractice, you cannot send an invitation directly to clients who are waiting.


Create and use webhooks to get real-time updates

A webhook is a clear and simple API that allows for one-way data transfer in response to events. They allow apps to share data and functionality, transforming the web into something larger than its individual elements. APIs and webhooks are both techniques for synchronizing and sharing data between software systems.

With EasyPractice, you'll be able to establish a webhook and select the events it should include. The following options allow you to create webhooks:

When one of those events is included in a webhook you've established, an API request will be sent to the URL you selected during the webhook creation process whenever that event occurs throughout the system. Now, the URL is sent with event-related information, like when a booking was made. With Cliniko you have to check if there are any new updates manually.
